Meet Rachel ❤

I am passionate about healing and doing the work that is necessary to step into the innate power that lies within us all. I believe healing is a life-long journey; one that we continually embark on the more self-work we choose to do. My passion is walking with people to support them on their healing journey and aid them in stepping into their power.

Movement has always been a passion of mine. I grew up dancing and competing in track and field. A series of failed knee surgeries ended my track and dance careers but opened the door to the world of yoga. Yoga was life-changing for me and supported me in healing my body, mind, and soul. It is my passion to share yoga and healing with others. The healing I gained from yoga called me to continue my education in psychology.

I have always created artwork, and in doing so found a great deal of release, healing, and connection to myself. I love the feeling of creating a work of art as for me creating art is a sharing of my soul. I have learned so much about myself through art-making and I am excited to share the healing of creating art with others.

I am a 500-hour E-RYT, 200-hour YACEP, Buti Yoga Master Trainer and level II Merge practitioner. I am certified in DEEP, hot core, sculpt and bands by Buti. I am certified in Yoga Nidra and individualized Yoga Nidra. I am a 85 hour PRYT (prenatal registered yoga teacher) and I have studied and am trained in Ayurvedic techniques. I have completed training in Expressive Arts Therapy for Traumatized Children and I have training in trauma-informed yoga psychology. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts with Distinction, Masters in Counselling with Distinction, and an advanced diploma in art therapy (MC:AT, DVATI). I am registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as a Certified Canadian Counsellor.
